Aries
ARIES (a.k.a.Donatas Naskevicius, born in Lithuania) started his musical journey in 2016. After 9 years visiting Psychedelic Music parties and festivals, he decided to go to Ozora Festival. The amazing adventures he had there pushed him to an old dream of his; being a DJ.
He started his DJing career at the Magistrat, a club based in centrum of Den Hague (Netherlands). After this great experience he was thinking about new ways on how to express himself in the Dutch Psytrance scene, being a foreigner from abroad.
So the idea was born to try, not to promote only himself, but also other Psytrance artists.
In 2018 December Aries met DJ Darzid (aKa Steven Brom). After their first, as they say, “experimental” b2b set they immediately understood that their music styles, -taste, even mixing fitted together nicely. It was Steven who taught Donatas many of his first mixing tips.
Steven, who has been an experienced DJ for over 30 years, happily shared his knowledge of mixing with Donatas and while doing so he became one of the biggest inspirations in his life.
After a while the idea came to do a collaboration and the Psytrance DJ Duo EQUA was born!
Their shared passion for high energetic psychedelic tracks creates powerful atmospheres on the dance floor, which will move your body from the start-, till the end of their set.
It was the same year when DJ Darzid introduced Aries to Psytrance.com-, and Psychedelic.Fm-founder Johan-Moric (a.k.a. Triptolemus), a guy sharing the same idea and vision of promoting Psychedelic Music by Producers & DJs from around the globe in order to help young and new artists to find their path and give them courage and inspiration.

In January 2020 the first episode of the PsyTales Radio Show aired, featuring a set by a good friend and amazing Psytrance Producer: D-ther.

Aries selects his tracks very wisely and carefully for each gig. After returning home from the Netherlands, the endless hours of selecting the finest tracks in order to bring high energy to the dance floor solidified his rank among the most wanted local DJs in Lithuania.
Having shared the stage with Ingrained Instincts, Daksinamurti, Southwild, Aum Shanti and many more DJs, Aries sets are very funky, non stop pumping energy, often with some lovely vocals, that gives goosebumps to the People on the dance floor.
He always succeeds in bringing a smile to people faces. In return he loves to see peoples hands in the air, screaming out of happiness and sharing Love, Hugs with each other.
His sets are very highly addictive!!! When you hear and experience it, you want to be the part of it more & more!!!
